I'm Sorry To Say It, But it is True...

Yup. I have Strep Throat (I might have Pink Eye to but we are not sure). Merrick has Pink Eye. And it looks like Stryker has Strep too.

We stayed home from school yesterday (I had to miss a Dance Contest at school! My group came in 3rd). Then in the afternoon the 3 of us went to the doctor. There Stryker and I got tested for Mono and Strep. Merrick, we found out, definitely has Pink Eye, and I definitely have Strep Throat (but no Mono). However, Stryker was negative for both Mono and Strep (even though his Throat was more red than mine), but they are sending his 'something or other' from the throat swab to get cultured... or something... anyways, he almost definitely has Strep too.

So last night I missed my first performance EVER. The understudy understudies all the girls in the cast, but I am the youngest one (obviously) which means all my characters are age seven and under... keep in mind the understudy is a teen. It must have been pretty weird because at one point I play a four year old, and my MOTHER and FATHER are played by teenagers!!!

Anyways, I'm going to my show tonight. I feel much better and it must because of at least one of the medicines I took last night (ha). I first took medicine for Strep (the boys had to take it to just in case). Then approximately 3 hours later I took a ROUND pill (it was actually like a little ball... it was odd) , then I took NightQuil half an hour later, and slept quite well. Hopefully my show won't make my throat hurt so much that I lose my voice!!!!

Watching American Idol

We are halfway through the run of Sister Kenny's Children at the History Theatre, and it's going really well. It ends in a couple weeks and then I have a BUSY week!

It's not for a couple more weeks but...
Sunday: S.K.C. closes. Valentines Day.
Monday: No school. PERCY JACKSON MOVIE COMES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Audition with my friend Tessa for 'Alice in Wonderland' at the Heritage Theatre.
Tuesday: Audition for 'The Magic Pot' at Stepping Stone Theatre (which goes to NEW YORK for a weekend!).
Wednesday: School
Thursday: School
Friday: School Talent Show!

So I guess that week I will be doing a lot of singing...

(About the title... I am typing while watching AMERICAN IDOL!!!!)

(Another thing...) Tomorrow (Wednesday) I am shadowing at Murray Jr. High because I might do there for seventh grade!

Hooray! Hooray! I am in another show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got into 'Fezziwegs Feast' with the Actors Theatre of Minnesota! We perform in the Lowry Theatre downtown St. Paul, and it is a Dinner Theatre! So the cast gets to serve the audience (except not the kids... boo~hoo)!

I've got to go to rehearsal now!

Annie

Wow. Annie opens in less two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope every one's ready!!!!!!!!!! I'm kinda nervous because we are using an actual dog for Sandy! And guess what her name is??????? ANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope she comes to Sandy instead of Annie...

We are running the show every day this week! Well, since I share the role with another Annie (there are two casts of orphans and Annie's, but the servants, Warbucks, Grace etc. are in every performance), I am running it with the Red Cast (I'm in the Red Cast, the other Annie is in the Orange) every other day.

Me and (well, let's just call her Annie) Annie get to work with the dog before rehearsal on Wednesday! Yay!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately... good news comes with bad news sometimes. I am still kinda-sorta getting over the flu. And it turns out (this is what the doctor told us) that while I was sick, some sort of gunk dripped into my throat, causing it to be on the edge of an infection... so my throat really hurts, and my voice is not fully restored. I just hope it gets better in time for opening!!!!!!!!!!!

But guess what??????? There are only TEN performances! And since there are two casts, I only perform FIVE times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the shortest run of performances I have ever had IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish there were more, it's a great show (REALLY funny!).

I have to go do homework (yes, in the midst of all this, I occasionally go to school), but I will post more later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
