Schoolhouse Rock Live!
Schoolhouse Rock Live! opened yesterday!!!! It was really fun. The only problem is we have many two-show days, so we are exhausted by the end of the day!!!!! The show is super tiring, but a lot of fun. We run for another two or three weeks. I have a commercial audition on Monday, but other than that I don't have any shows as of now.

YPC
I'm doing two things with Youth Performance Company right now. Their fundraiser performance, Cattle Call (themed "Mooau at the Luau") is next Sunday, so we are rehearsing every day. I'm also doing Schoolhouse Rock Live. We have Schoolhouse Rock rehearsal from 4:30-6:30, then Cattle Call from 7-9, so I'm kinda busy right now. That's pretty much it...

More updates...
So MEAN closed last week. It was very very very sad ) : some people were crying during the finale, which actually made me laugh very hard (I have no idea why...). But now we are touring to schools and performing a shortened version of the show. It's kind of a fun challenge. I've never toured before, and it's interesting the way everything works. It's definitely difficult to adjust to a new stage every time, but I'm glad I'm getting to do this ( :
I recently joined Youth Performance Companies Young Artist Council (YAC), and we had a meeting last week. I'm excited for all of the things YAC is planning, and hopefully I won't be unoccupied for long. On Tuesday I have an audition for YPC's Schoolhouse Rock Live. Well, actually I'm just going to callbacks because I can't make it to auditions on Monday. So if I get into that (which I'm kind of unsure of because it's ages 14+, but they still said I can audition : ), I'll have a Spring show. I might audition for a show at Theatre Latte Da soon, so I will keep posting updates.
Bye!

Mean
Mean opened last weekend to great reviews! I encourage everyone to see it. It's an amazing show, and I think everyone should see this. Here is the link to the YPC webpage. Even if you're not planning on seeing it, you should at least read their blog, because I believe it will really enlighten you on the kind of work we are doing. If you are planning on seeing it, great! But be sure to get your tickets soon, because we only have one and a half weekends left! The closing performance (Sunday the 27th at 2:00) is already sold out, and others are selling pretty quickly too.
So I hope everyone can come, and that you tell all your friends about the show! ( :

Busy!
Well, I have more updates! I can't really remember what I've updated the past couple posts, so I'll just go over all of it!
I'm in The House of the Spirits at Mixed Blood Theater, where I play one of the main characters as a child, so I'm not on stage a lot, but it's still SUPER fun.
I am also doing The Little Match Girls Gift on the U of M Centennial Showboat. We open the day after Thanksgiving! It's also really fun so far. And there are other kids in this one. In the Mixed Blood I'm the only kid!
AND NOW I HAVE THE MOST EXCITING NEWS OF ALL!
Next summer, for 3 WEEKS... I will be attending Stagedoor Manor with my friend Katie!!!!!!!
Stagedoor Manor is a performing arts camp for kids who eat, sleep, and breath theater! It's in NEW YORK CITY, and we spend three weeks there just acting, singing, dancing, and even doing film classes! We have two rehearsals and three or four classes a day. And the most exciting part is that people such as: Lea Michele, Natalie Portman, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Cryer, and Mandy Moore all went there, and that was how they were 'discovered'!
So obviously I'm very excited.
I'll post more soon!
