This is why: So yesterday was a two show day (one at 10:30, one at 7:00). The first show was okay except for the second scene the strap on my overalls broke. I couldn't snap it again because the snap broke. Finally when I had like 10 seconds offstage one of the costumers pinned it back together. Yes, that happened onstage. But that is definitely not the worse part.
After the show I had a dentist appointment because I had a toothache. Once I got there the dentist looked at my teeth and told me that the filling on one of my cavities had come off, so my tooth was weak cause of the cavity, which made it split. Once the dentist told me that, this is how the conversation went:
Dentist: Looks like she will have to get her tooth pulled.
My Mom: Oh. Well Scarlett nothing to worry about it wont have to happen right now.
Dentist: Oh, no we are gonna pull it right now.
Oh joy.
When they actually pulled it it didn't really hurt, but then the problem came afterwards.
Once I got home it wouldn't stop bleeding.
We waited about 2 hours then called the dentist. They said to take an old washcloth and press it up and the spot for about a half hour. I did that and it still wouldn't stop, after 2 and a half more hours after that I had to leave for my show, and yes, still bleeding. We are called an hour before the show. We do Warm-ups for half an hour, then get into costume. I spent the entire warm-up session in the crew office (the office for the crew members where we are not normally allowed), then got into costume with Gauze in my mouth. The entire show I wasn't feeling well.
My mouth is still bleeding.
